Return and Refund Policy

We want you to love your jewelry from The Chunky Jeweller. If you're not completely satisfied, you may request a return within 14 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return:

Your item must be unused, in its original packaging, and in resalable condition. Custom or personalized items are

non-refundable unless faulty.

To start a return, email us at info@thechunkyjeweller.com with your order number and reason. If approved, you’ll receive return instructions.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you and issue a store credit within 5–10 business days.

Exchanges

If you received a defective or damaged item, we’ll gladly send you a replacement. Contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.

Non-returnable items:

Gift cards, Sale items, Custom-engraved or personalized jewelry

Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless the item is damaged or incorrect.

1. Manufacturing & Processing Time

- Standard Orders: Processed within 1–3 business days (excludes weekends/public holidays).

- Made-to-Order/Custom Jewelry:

- Requires 2–6 weeks for production (e.g., engraved, handcrafted, or personalized items).

- Customers must account for manufacturing time in addition to shipping timelines.

- Rush production may be available for an extra fee (contact info@chunkyjeweller.com before ordering).



2. Shipping Origins & Delivery Timelines

All orders ship from Hastings, New Zealand.


Estimated Delivery Time:

New Zealand : Standard Domestic, 2–5 business days

Australia : Standard International, 5–10 business days

USA/Canada : Standard International, 10–21 business days

Rest of World : Standard International, 15–30+ business days



3. Shipping Costs

- Free Domestic Shipping: Free standard shipping within New Zealand.

- International Orders: Free international shipping.



4. Key Notes for Customers

- Manufacturing Delays: Custom items require production time before shipping. Plan accordingly for events or gifts.

- Tracking: Sent via email once dispatched. Allow 24–48 hours for tracking to activate.

- Import Taxes/Duties: International buyers are responsible for customs fees (Chunky Jeweller does not cover these charges).

- Address Errors: Double-check shipping details. Incorrect addresses may result in lost packages or additional reshipping fees.

- Non-Refundable Custom Orders: Once production begins, cancellations or returns are not accepted.

Q: Do you ship to PO Boxes?

A: No—we require a physical address for delivery.
